Community Power Cornwall (The Track)
Due to the Government’s decision to remove EIS from investment in community energy projects made on or after Monday 30th November 2015, CPC elected to carry out an emergency share offer to unlock investment into their society.
The share offer was issued by CPC to raise funds for operational and new renewable energy projects, seeking to swop out debt finance on existing developments and finance new ones to maximise the benefit for local residents.
With little time to pull the share offer together, the offer raised £62,600 in 10 days and was promoted by Community Power Cornwall to its members and listed on Community Energy England’s and 10:10’s EnergyDash websites.
As well becoming a member of Community Power Cornwall, Energyshare promoted the opportunity through social media and mail outs to Energyshare’s Cornish members.
